1. Suicide Awareness Month
September is Suicide Awareness Month. As a church, we are called to share hope, healing, and help with those who are hurting. You are valued. You are loved. You are not alone. If you or someone you know needs support, call or text 988. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.” What a blessing.
2. Benevolence in Elegance – Christian Education Fundraiser
The Christian education fundraiser, Benevolence in Elegance, featuring Madah Marvella’s Fire-Proof Suit, was successfully presented at the Richardson Seventh-day Adventist Church on September 6, 2026. Special thanks to the cast and all the children who participated for their dedication, hard work, and talent. Thanks also to the parents for their support. For those who were unable to attend, there will be a special presentation in the future where you will have another opportunity to see the production and continue supporting Christian education. Thanks again, and may God richly bless you.
3. Amazing Disciples – Discipleship Training
Amazing Disciples is a discipleship training event sponsored by the Texas Conference, happening September 24–27 at the North Dallas Adventist Academy Student Life Center in Richardson. The event will feature Doug Batchelor, Jean Ross, Carlos Muñoz, and Daniel Hudgens. This training is a great opportunity to grow and be equipped for ministry. The cost is $19. 4. 13th Sabbath Celebration
Next Sabbath is 13th Sabbath! Bring the kids early and join us for breakfast at 8:45 a.m. Sabbath School begins at 9:45 a.m. After Sabbath School, enjoy a special presentation as our children share what they’ve learned throughout the quarter. Come celebrate and encourage our kids. You don’t want to miss it!
5. Garland Wildcats Adventurer Club Car Wash & Pancake Fundraiser
Join the Garland Wildcats Adventurer Club for a Car Wash & Pancake Fundraiser on September 20 at Garland Faith Community SDA Church. Tickets are $20. Enjoy breakfast, get your car washed, and support our Adventurer Ministry. Register using the QR code.
6. Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting
Join us this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting on Zoom. Come for a time of prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
